Wow what a busy day Halloween has turned into. We started off @ 9:00 at the school for the kids parade. We have to zip up to dad's work to visit his friends, then buzz down to Ominiture for Ambers over the top work Halloween party where little people are flown in to be munchkins to help set the stage for Oz. If you view my smilebox album you will see how her office goes all out. Each department has a theme. One group had sod put down inside the office for a U of U vs BYU field. Then we go up to Michaun and Sheldons for dinner and trick or treating in our old neighborhood. It is so much fun but very busy. Addi was Jasmine for her school parade but then changed into the wicked witch of the west for trick or treating because Avery was Dorthy. Zoey was Sharpay from High School Musical and can easily pull that off.

Happy Birthday to me!
Well another year rolls around and I can't believe it but I am climbing up there. For my birthday I wanted to take the girls up to see the witches at Gardner Village and eat dinner, so we did. It is so fun to get some cute halloween pictures of them. Jodie surprised me with a cake with the girls on it so cute, flowers and balloons. He also finally pulled off a gift for me that for once I didn't have to go and buy myself, or knew what it was before he gave it to me. He got me a Tiffany's locket with a heart on it to go on my necklace. Way to go I had no idea, although it didn't make it on time at least he tried. It has only taken him how many years to get it right. So many great friends gave me a call, or posted on my Facebook site. It made my day, so thanks for all of your sweet thoughts. It was a great day!

Me, Heidi, and Amber
Well I had big high hopes for posting a lot of my pictures and after I started looking at over 500 I decided it could take up so much time, so to look at more just click on my slideshow to enlarge. It is really hard to comprehend how old Rome is over there and how young America really is. We saw the first shopping mall at the Roman Forum that is over 1900 yrs old, that is when Heidi's ears perked up, (what a mall, where). There are so many sculptures and I loved all of the baby cherubs. All of the ceilings are painted with amazing pictures. You almost get over sensitized there is just to much to take in. As you can tell from my pictures I dressed for comfort with tshirts, jeans, a backpack, and Nike's. Since this is my third time around I knew what I was in for. Heidi dressed for style and looks cute in the pictures but went through 2 purses and a pair of sandals. We would leave our hotel at 10 and get home between 11-12 at night. So needless to say we walked and walked and walked. No worries though I had plenty of fuel with daily doses of Gelato, chocolate croissants, chocolate and bannana crepes, and pizza for dinner and lunch. Well I hope you enjoy my pictures but when I looked really weathered remember I was out all day, had a hard time doing my hair with low powered hairdryers and a flat iron that smelled like it was going to blow up.

Finally Home Sweet Home
10 days is a long time to be away from my little girls and I am sooo glad to be back home. I have been able to visit Europe 3 times now and each time I am so grateful for living in the USA. We have it so great over here and it is the little things that we take for granite. The smell of fresh air, clean bathrooms that are free, so many choices of food, kind people, owning your own car, a house with a yard in a quiet neighborhood, diet Dr. Pepper, mexican food. I am not saying it isn't great over there but just like any big city it is busy and I realize I am glad to live in a small town. I have posted my pictures in a slide show at the top of my blog. I am going to blog a few and tell what we saw but it might take awhile I only took 600 pictures. It is nice to be gone just long enough for your husband to miss you and realize what you do daily to keep things running. I must say he did a great job and the house looked great.

Two Days and Counting
Yeah only two days left according to my Paris countdown. I am excited and sad to leave my girls for 10 days. I know once I get over there I will enjoy myself. I have better get busy packing. I am so glad Heidi decided to join us, that makes the trip even more exciting. Stay tuned for when I return with tons of awesome pictures. I am in a dilemma do I take my big awesome digital Rebel camera or my little Canon. I think for convenience I will take my little one but the picture would be so much better with the bigger one. Today Avery is home with the stomach flu and I think I am a little queasy as well. Maybe later I can start getting prepared. The clock is ticking.....
Avery's Birthday Party
Well since I won't be here for her official bithday on the 15th I had her party early. I feel guilty of course but I have to remember she doesn't know the difference and dad can throw her a party while I am gone. We invited her cute cousins Crew and Dyson. They had a fun time feeding the animals and riding the ponies. She had a Sponge Bob cake because she loves him. This is probably my 5th time I have had my kids birthday parties at Thanksgiving Point. They have always loved it, for some reason they think it is called "Daycare Farm"???? I don't know but that is what we call it. As for little Avery Jo turning 2, she is so much fun and I have loved every second of her. She has been an easy baby, likes to snuggle and can now talk up a storm. If you can't tell I love to take pictures of her. She has been so easy with an easy going personality and she gets right into what ever her sisters are doing. She is adorable and melts my heart! I love you Avery:)

My Friends
Last Friday I had club at my house with a group of friends from high school. I just wanted to let my friends know how grateful I am that I have such great friends who have stayed tried and true throughout the years I have been friends with some of them for 30 years and the rest since Jr. High. We take the time to get together every other month. I can't believe I didn't break out my camera I don't know what I was thinking, but anyway I am very lucky to have such great friendships. Now I need to pay attention to the Utah Vs Oregon game. It might be a tough one. Go UTES!!!!!
Fall in Park City
Our friends Lance and Julee Pyper invited us up to Park City, they were staying at the Marriott Mountainside Resort for the week. We zipped up Monday evening for a quick shopping spree, swimming, leaf looking, and what I was really excited for Baja Cantina for my fav spinach cream cheese chicken enchiladas that I crave.... Any excuse to go up to PC
